Dannon announced today that this spring it will launch DANNON® Whipped lowfat yogurt. By whipping its popular lowfat blended yogurt flavors into a unique, mousse-like texture, Dannon has created another reason for people to love yogurt.

"We are very excited about the launch of DANNON Whipped, " said Jeffrey Dec, brand manager, The Dannon Company. "It's light texture and wholesome ingredients make it perfect for anytime of the day."

Along with pure eating pleasure, DANNON Whipped provides the quality and nutrition that can be expected from Dannon. DANNON Whipped Lowfat yogurt is a good source of calcium, includes vitamins A & D, contains 110 calories and 2.5 grams of fat per 4 oz serving. Like all DANNON yogurt products, DANNON Whipped is made with active cultures and meets National Yogurt Association criteria for live and active culture yogurt.

DANNON Whipped will be available in six appealing and delicious flavors: Strawberry Supreme, Orchard Peach, Red Raspberry, French Vanilla, Key Lime Pie and Orange Cream. These are some of the top selling flavors among yogurt and ice cream lovers.

DANNON Whipped will be available in April in supermarkets on the east coast and in the central and southern states. Sold in 4 oz serving sizes, the suggested retail price is $0.69 (price may vary according to market).
