WHITE PLAINS, NY – May 14, 2008 – The Dannon Company, Inc. today announced four new additions to its senior leadership team, including the appointment of Antoine Remy as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO); Marc Jove as Vice President of Marketing; Philippe Domenge as Vice President of Industrial; and Tony Cicio as Vice President of Human Resources.

As CFO of Dannon, Antoine Remy is responsible for the company's U.S. financial operations, including financial planning, analysis, accounting and reporting, and tax audit. Remy joined Groupe DANONE in 1996 in the International Treasury Department. He moved to DANONE Spain in 1999, where he held several roles within the finance department, culminating to his role as Director, Business Planning & Analysis. He joined the Dannon U.S. team in August 2004, and most recently served as Senior Director of Finance. Marc Jove was appointed Vice President of Marketing and is responsible for overseeing brand marketing, customer marketing, market research, health marketing, media operations and consumer care. Previously, Jove was Vice President of Marketing at DANONE Argentina as well as the Marketing Vice President for the global Activia Acceleration Business Unit, responsible for the development of the Activia brand across 35 countries. Jove has been with Groupe DANONE for more than 10 years, managing many successful brands such as Vitalinea (Light & Fit), DAN'UP (a drinkable yogurt), and Activia. Philippe Domenge, formerly Vice President of Industrial in DANONE Mexico, is now Vice President of Industrial, now overseeing the U.S. production infrastructure. Prior to his role in Mexico, Domenge was the Technical Director for Groupe DANONE France and Dairy Global Process Director. Before he joined Groupe DANONE, Domenge worked at Masterfoods for more than 10 years throughout Europe in progressively responsible positions. Tony Cicio has assumed the role of Vice President, Human Resources, and will oversee all U.S. human resources, compensation and benefits, as well as internal communications. Mr. Cicio joined Groupe DANONE in June 1995 as Financial Controller of Lea & Perrins Inc., and in 1998 became Vice President, Finance of Lea & Perrins. In February 2001, he was appointed Vice President, Finance of HP Foods Ltd. In July 2004, he became Vice President, Finance of Evian North America before taking the role of Vice President, Finance North America and CFO Dannon U.S. in January 2005.
