Philippe Caradec

Philippe Caradec is vice president of regulatory
affairs for The Dannon Company, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Paris-based
Groupe Danone. All legislative activities and regulatory affairs in the
United States fall under his responsibility.
Mr. Caradec joined Groupe Danone in April 1992, then
The Dannon Company, in November 1998.
Prior to that, Mr. Caradec spent four years consulting in Washington,
D.C., specializing in technical and regulatory matters affecting the imported
food and beverage industry.
Mr. Caradec was also the assistant agricultural attaché for technical
and regulatory affairs at the embassy of France in Washington, D.C, for
four years.
Mr. Caradec received a Master of Science in Food Science from Purdue University,
West Lafayette, IN, after completing his graduate studies at the National
Superior School of Agronomy of Rennes, France.
