Vice President of Legal Affairs & General Counsel

Donna is the Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel for The Dannon Company, Inc. and Great Brands of Europe, Inc. (EVIAN and LU). Donna is a member of the Dannon Executive Committee and heads the Legal Department. Donna is Chief Compliance Officer for these companies and in this role oversees the Compliance Program.

Donna joined the Danone Group in 1995 as Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property and Litigation. In 1996, she was promoted to Associate General Counsel, responsible for intellectual property, marketing, sales and litigation. In 1997, she was promoted to Chief Intellectual Property Officer. In 1999, she was promoted to Deputy General Counsel, responsible for a variety of subject areas, including employment matters. In June 2005, she was promoted to Vice President of Legal Affairs and General Counsel. Consequently, in this new role, Donna has evolved and integrated the legal team as strategic partners in the business.

Prior to joining Group Danone, Donna was an attorney in the litigation department from the law firm of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker. Donna began her professional career at the McNeil-Lehrer Newshour and, thereafter, worked as a reporter for the Tampa Tribune and Assistant Producer at CBS.

Donna graduated from The University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Science Degree. She also has Juris Doctor Degree from St. John’s University School of Law. Donna enjoys long walks, bicycling, skiing, and spending time with her husband and two children.
