We believe that The Dannon Company’s role in society goes beyond the production of nutritious, great-tasting foods. We are committed to helping people make informed food choices to improve their nutrition and health.

That’s why Dannon supports initiatives to encourage nutrition education through The Dannon Institute, an independent, non-profit foundation dedicated to promoting excellence in the field of nutrition. Dannon also supports non-profit organizations dedicated to nurturing healthy eating habits in children.

For generations, Dannon has been committed to helping people lead a healthy lifestyle whether it be through our line of fresh cultured dairy products or the resources we donate to charities. Dannon is especially interested in supporting those endeavors that promote children’s nutrition education in the communities in which our employees live and work through grant funding, available in 2008.

The Dannon Institute supports education and research that explores the relationship between nutrition and better health.

Through our Dannon Cares program, The Dannon Company also supports employee involvement and corporate donations. Last year, Dannon donated more than 2 million pounds of our fresh dairy products to America’s Second Harvest, the Nation’s Food Bank Network, to help people at risk for hunger. All part of our Dannon commitment to helping families attain healthier, happier lives.
